MAPLE BURL PLATTER

One of the battles in my designs is the need to put everything on the lathe- when maybe the wood is better suited for hand carving or a different approach I always go to lathe first. This is a prime example of my need to turn everything haha. I like the end result but one could say this piece had a bit of a terrifying wobble while turning it. Beautiful Burl from @sour_charley_  a big thanks for yet again another gorgeous maple.
